This project supports a Producer Demonstration Site (PDS) to show how the use of individual animal identification can contribute to improved profitability, productivity and sustainability in rangeland sheep enterprises. Testing Tropicals - NSW Southern Slopes

This project will fund a Producer Demonstration Site (PDS) featuring tropical and sub-tropical pasture species in production systems on the southern slopes of New South Wales. Producers will be able to compare these species to current summer feed options (e.g. lucerne and summer-active perennials), and work out what management adaptations would be necessary to successfully incorporate these species.
