Testing Tropicals - NSW Southern Slopes

This project will fund a Producer Demonstration Site (PDS) featuring tropical and sub-tropical pasture species in production systems on the southern slopes of New South Wales. Producers will be able to compare these species to current summer feed options (e.g. lucerne and summer-active perennials), and work out what management adaptations would be necessary to successfully incorporate these species into southern grazing systems. New South Wales Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI) is currently undertaking tropical and subtropical pasture trials in Wagga Wagga, Yanco, Goolgowi, Cowra and Orange in New South Wales.
