National Farmers Federation: Australian Farm Data Code

The Australian Farm Data Code aims to promote adoption of digital technology, by ensuring that farmers have comfort in how their data is used, managed, and shared.

Providers who have a direct contractual relationship with farmers and manage farm data, are eligible for an independent assessment by the NFF of their data terms and policies against the Code. Providers who fully comply with the Code are eligible to be certified by the NFF.

Australia’s land use map

Bureau of Meteorology (BOM)

Geoscience Australia (GA)

Providing information and advice about the geology and geography of Australia. Click through to access a data catalogue, publications, online tools, maps and videos. GA is an Australian government agency.

Soil and Landscape Grid of Australia

The Grid represents Australia as a digital grid, providing soil attribute and landscape information generated from sampling, laboratory sensing, modelling and remote sensing. 

Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) – Creative Commons Licenses

Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) and its partners have funded the development of education and extension resources (including manuals, tools and calculators) to benefit Australian red meat producers. To improve the accessibility of these resources to industry, MLA and its partners have adopted an ‘easy access creative commons’ approach.
