Presentation at World Congress of Aquaculture and Fisheries (Xiamen, China) on Biosecurity and Aquatic Animal Health

This project provided funding for the executive officer of Australia's Pearl Producers Association to chair a session and take part in a panel discussion on biosecurity and aquatic animal health at the 2020 World Congress of Aquaculture and Fisheries. His presentation included an overview of the Australian Aquatic Animal Health and Biosecurity Management Framework and an update on the development of an Aquatic Deed for Australia, to formalise industry and government’s co-management of responses to aquatic emergency disease outbreaks.
