This project offered a travel bursary to encourage fishing industry representatives to attend CMS COP13 in India, the Conference of Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals. The potential listing of school shark as a migratory species at the conference is of concern to Australia, and the Department of Environment strongly encouraged industry to attend.
