Review of AME bioassay for ingredient matrix values of poultry feed

A literature review to revist meat chicken studies, performed over the preceding 100 years on ingredient metabolisable energy assays. The aim being to clarify where problems are and suggest more accurate bioassays for the estimate of feedstuff energy values in poultry.
