Identifying opportunities from collaborating along and across value chains.

A value-chain involves collaboration, including a willingness to share ideas and resources; knowledge of what is happening upstream and downstream of each business, and consequently what consumers value and will pay for.

This project will focus on identifying key areas across Australia’s agricultural industries, including farming, fisheries and forestry to identify and provide a comprehensive analysis of collaboration and partnership opportunities along and across value chains.

Opportunities for leveraging off greater collaboration will arise within specific industries and across industries, the role of disruptive technologies, such as artificial intelligence and agricultural technologies, including data sharing are examples that will be most relevant to cross sector collaboration.

Case studies of success and how these opportunities may be leveraged will be provided. The aim being to demonstrate and subsequently empower producers to increase efficiency, drive innovation, profitability and reduce costs.
