PhD: Textile supply chain transparency and accountability

The objective of this investment is to map the physical flow of material within a typical supply chain, and also map the cause and consequence of decision making to identify major environmental and social risks within the supply chain, who and where decisions are made, and the influence on these risks. The investment will provide a better understanding of the relationships within the supply chain, identifying where the opportunity (or power) to influence the whole chain to adopt more sustainable processes resides within the wider stakeholder mix of retail brands, suppliers, traders, governments etc.
