Cotton Landcare Tech Innovations: Creating a legacy for biodiversity management research: Grower engagement
The Cotton Landcare Tech Innovations project builds on international best practice to implement and develop cutting-edge technologies such as drone mapping, aerial seeding, acoustic monitoring and big data to help the Australian cotton industry better understand, report on and improve on-farm biodiversity. It is funded under the National Landcare Program’s Smart Farming Partnerships initiative. This specific project supports the social science research by facilitating grower workshops to provide feedback on biodiversity management practice challenges.
