Industry challenge:

The Kangaroo Island AgTech Demonstration Program was established in the wake of the 2019-20 bushfires which devastated agriculture in the region. With funding from the Australian Government Regional Recovery Partnerships program, the initiative collaborates with Kangaroo Island's primary producers to integrate AgTech solutions into local farms. By showcasing the benefits of technology in farm management, the program aims to enhance productivity, profitability, and best practice systems for producers in the region.

This initiative facilitates direct engagement between primary producers and a variety of AgTech solutions, allowing them to assess technologies before making investment decisions.

Simultaneously, the program fosters collaboration between developers, suppliers, and primary producers to ensure that the deployed technology is user-centric and effective.

Current opportunity:

We are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from developers and suppliers who would like to deploy products on our Kangaroo Island AgTech demonstration farms.
