SIP2 - Key learning sites southern (making the most of water) - Alex Schultz

This investment demonstrates and extends the use of automated surface irrigation layouts to improve efficiency of water use. The project will investigate a range of irrigation management strategies including the timing of, and intervals between, irrigations as well as paddock top up targets to improve irrigation management in a cotton crop. Key learning sites at four locations will showcase best irrigation practice and return per megalitre of water for irrigators.
