Seafood Marketing Symposium 2020

This project allowed planning of a National Seafood Marketing Symposium, to expand producers' knowledge of the seafood market supply chain and advances in marketing and product development. The Queensland Seafood Marketers Association (QSMA) organised and hosted National Seafood Marketing Symposiums in Brisbane in 2017 and 2018. The Symposiums inspire participants with practical examples of effective marketing they could apply at a sector, category or company level; showcase examples of marketing to domestic demand, export, trade and industry; identify and explain new marketing channels and the opportunities they present; demonstrate how to incorporate a systematic approach to develop a brand; and identify meaningful and distinct consumer markets through market segmentation.
