Joint-RDC Community Trust Scoping Study

This project will develop a strategy for a program of work to build and maintain trust in Australia's primary industries by addressing the following specific areas: 1) Research to identify community trust issues 2) Research to explore the values driving identified community trust issues 3) Analysis of research results to identify the drivers of change in community trust 4) Research into strategies for building, maintaining and re-building community trust with reference to: a. stakeholder and key influencer identification; b. the barriers to change in response to community trust issues; c. leadership strategies required to drive industry engagement on community trust issues; d. extension to industry; and e. strategies that have proved successful in building community trust; and 5) Reporting and engagement to inform stakeholders of the outcome of the research. The strategy developed through this project will reflect that issues around community trust affect the whole sector, and communication between RDCs, peak bodies and other stakeholders will be key to working collaboratively to build and maintain community trust.
