To provide training in governance to Western Australian Thoroughbred Stakeholder Bodies and anyone interested in participating in these bodies in the future. By providing education on the roles and responsibilities of boards, how to have an effective board and understanding strategy and risk, we aim to improve the capabilities of board members, enabling them to have more meaningful input. In turn, this will improve the wider industry input of each stakeholder body, representation for industry groups and industry as a whole.
