Connecting the unconnected for on-farm technology adoption

This project has a two pronged approach as not only is it about encouraging greater adoption of technology but by utilising the Zetifi connectivity solutions, grain growers will be able to use more technology on-farm. This will be the first of its kind trial in South Australia and we believe the three grain growing properties involved will be able to champion innovative connectivity solutions. One of the major barriers identified by the SA AgTech Strategic Plan was return on investment and the only way to show whether technology will work in local conditions and is affordable for the farmer is by trialing it on-farm. Unless we bridge the connectivity gap by utilising innovative solutions, such as the Zetifi technology, our grower members will continue to struggle to adopt the latest technology and therefore fall behind in productivity and profitability.
