Capital requirements of Australia’s agriculture, fisheries and forestry sector

The aim of this project is to provide an analysis quantifying the current shortfall in the capital investment needed in Australian agriculture to meet that needed to grow Australia’s agriculture, fisheries and forestry sector to $100bn. In addition to understanding the size of the capital investment gap, the analysis will also canvass options for governments, industry, farm businesses and the value chain to attract new capital to the industry, to reduce volatility and risk, and support growth.
