Australian Goat Fibre extension and industry development program - Future fibre farming

This project will work with the fibre goat industry to conduct an extension and education campaign with the overall objective of growing the size, production, reputation and value of the Australian goat fibre industry. The project will build the capability of current industry participants and build awareness and a positive reputation among livestock producers that are currently not farming fibre goats.  It will seek to establish resources and connections that provide individuals along the value chain with the necessary advice and support to allow them to participate in the industry.   The project will develop written, video and audio content and run both on-farm and online training and awareness events.  The project will have a central hub where all resources are housed and industry participants can interact.  This will become a legacy product for the industry.
