Rural Health and Safety Alliance
There is an enormous social, emotional and economic toll to workplace death and injury. The Rural Safety and Health Alliance is focused on giving farmers and fishers the tools to create safer working environments for themselves, their workers and their families. Australia’s rural Industries, represented by nine rural Research and Development Corporations, are investing and collaborating on health and safety improvement through effective research, development and extension (RD&E). The Rural Safety and Health Alliance will facilitate cross-sectoral RD&E to minimise the negative impacts associated with death, injury and illness, and maximise the benefits of a productive, healthy and safe rural workforce.
