Review of the Biosecurity plan

The aim of this project is to undertake a comprehensive review of the national biosecurity plan for the avocado and mango industry. The plan will identify exotic pest threats and provide a strategic framework for industry and government to work together to improve both preparedness for, and response to, the key biosecurity threats identified. Future biosecurity priorities will be determined in consultation with industry and government stakeholders and will be outlined in the biosecurity implementation table. It is the intention that the implementation table will be regularly monitored to ensure that the plan remains dynamic and responsive to the biosecurity needs of industry.
