Removing seabirds from the otterboard trawler danger zone.

This project is in response to new rules regarding the discarding of biological material (discards and offal) while fishing gear is in the water. The aim of the project is to develop strategies to remove seabirds from the danger zone (between trawl warps and the water) and in so doing gain exemption from the "no biological material discharge while fishing" rule. |
