Prune industry communications and extension program

Established in 2019, this project delivers communications to Australian prune growers and other industry stakeholders. By keeping the industry up to date on R&D, news, events and other useful information, its ultimate goal is to facilitate the uptake of R&D by the industry and support decision-making in Australian prune businesses.

A number of regular communication channels continue to be produced and maintained, including but not limited to:

  • Production of prune industry articles for The Vine magazine, which is the joint magazine for the dried fruit, dried prune and table grape industries (access online editions here)

  • Delivery of Ausprunes e-newsletters to industry contacts (to sign up, contact Ausprunes here)

  • Events including field days and an annual grower forum.
