On-farm Biosecurity Risk Identification Framework for the Australian layer industry
This current report captures the risks laid out in the National Farm Biosecurity Technical Manual for Egg Production and highlights why each is considered a risk - this is essential when explaining concepts and motivating action - and potential options for how these risks could be managed. Each farming operation is different, so the focus of each risk assessment, the level of risk for each site (likelihood and consequence), and the mitigation options require a customised approach for each site and, ideally, involve the key farm stakeholders, especially management, veterinarians and employees
