The objectives of the project were to seek access trade performance information and the broader macroeconomic trading environment to ensure that the melon industry remains informed on the issues and considerations that may affect current and future trade and market performance. Market Intelligence reports will assist in the continued development of non-protocol export markets, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and United Arab Emirates for Australian melons. This project supported market intelligence for growers to build industry capacity to make informed business decisions and to create new opportunities for trading internationally.
