This project is focussed on capacity building to meet the skills needs of an expanding aquaculture industry in northern Australia. Projections are that the industry will require between 1400 and 2300 additional skilled people by 2030 to support industry growth. Specifically this project will assist with professional development for those currently working in northern Australian aquaculture industries, aligning training with industry needs and promoting career opportunities in the industry among regional communities.
