External review of the FRDC's Indigenous fishing and aquaculture coordination program

The external review of the FRDC's Indigenous fishing and aquaculture coordination program aimed to assess its impact and provide recommendations for improvement. The review focused on evaluating the program's effectiveness in supporting Indigenous fishing and aquaculture RD&E activities and cultural fishing. It aimed to identify areas for enhancement, improve adoption and impact, and recommend changes to the program's governance structure. By conducting an independent review, the project sought to ensure the program's continued success in supporting Indigenous Australians in the fishing and aquaculture industry and promoting the use of Traditional Ecological Knowledge. Implementing the review's recommendations aimed to strengthen support for Indigenous fishing and aquaculture initiatives and enhance opportunities for Indigenous Australians.
