Communicating Wool's Skin Health
This investment focusses on the extension and communication of research findings regarding the use of wool garments in eczema sufferers to health care professionals.
The project will;
-
inform audiences of the role of superfine Merino wool as an adjunctive therapy for eczema,
-
overcome resistance to the use of wool as a natural treatment option for eczema, and
-
counter the misconception that all wool is itchy and should be avoided by people with sensitive skin.
