Assessment of the efficacy of autogenous vaccines in Spotty Liver Disease control
This project will examine the ability of an autogenous vaccine developed using site-specific strains of Campylobacter hepaticus originating from the study farms, to reduce Spotty Liver Disease (SLD) lesions. The project will evaluate the ability of an autogenous inactivated vaccine to protect in the field and in a controlled challenge model at a dose shown to effectively produce SLD.
