Meat Standards Australia (MSA) was developed by the Australian red meat industry to improve the eating quality consistency of beef and sheepmeat. This funding will provide project and study design consultation as well as statistical support for MSA research and development, as directed by authorised MSA personnel.

The Livestock Export Program (LEP) invests in research, development and extension (RD&E) activities to enhance the productivity, sustainability and competitiveness of the red meat export industry. This project will assess the current priorities and sentiment of the industry, to ensure that LEP RD&E priorities remain relevant and effective.
