Transition Investment to secure critical outputs from current UQ00070 and previous Sorghum core pre-breeding investments

This investment supports the transition of sorghum pre-breeding to the same trait-based model used for all other mandated crops. The GRDC's investment in the core sorghum pre-breeding program ended when the most recent pre-breeding investment UQ00070, finished on the 30th June 2020. This investment will secure the resources and IP generated from the GRDC's co-investment in the core pre-breeding program and ensure they are readily available for use by commercial sorghum breeders and future pre-breeding investments
