Serradellas for new environments
An opportunity exists for industry to benefit by up to $750M/year through addressing the pasture yield gap within 7M ha of south eastern Australia; up to 60% effected by nitrogen deficiency. A reliable pasture legume is required - serradellas are candidates. This project scrutinises past investments in nutrient use efficiency, addresses key gaps in knowledge for use of serradellas, identifies cultivars, demonstrates efficacy and identifies champion producers.
