PGS SLP Delivery Gra$$ to Dollars Barossa
Profitable Grazing Systems (PGS) is an Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) adoption program, which will drive measurable, improved business performance outcomes for participating red meat producers. This project supports delivery of Grass$$ to Dollars supported learning project (SLP) to 2 groups of livestock producers at King Island and in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. The SLP will focus on the southern feed base curriculum. Participants will learn how much pasture they can grow and how to improve this, how to turn the maximum amount of pasture profitably into meat and/or wool, how much an animal can eat, how to measure this and determine if this amount is adequate. The SLP will run over approximately 12 months
