NVT summer crop Trial Service Provision
The summer crop National Variety Trial (NVT) program was established by GRDC in 2017 to provide Australian grain growers and advisers with access to independent and locally relevant sorghum variety performance information. In providing this information to growers and advisers, NVT accelerates the adoption of new, superior varieties and helps avoid the use of regionally unsuitable varieties. The Trial Service Provision program delivers yield trial and grain quality results from over 20 trials at over 20 locations for ~30 near-release or released varieties of sorghum.
