Independent review of the Grains Research and Farm Business Updates
The GRDC Grains Research Updates (GRU) and Farm Business Updates (FBU) are an integral part of the GRDC's extension landscape and event calendar. These flagship investments play a key role in the grower adoption cycle, delivering the latest research findings to GRDC's key stakeholder audience across all three grain growing regions.
As part of the most recent investment in GRUs and FBUs, GRDC indicated intent to engage an external consultant to conduct a review, evaluate and provide recommendations around these investments. A review of the three individual GRU contracts (GIA1906-004SAX, ICN1906-003SAX, ORM1906-001SAX) and the one national FBU contract (ORM1906-002SAX) will allow GRDC to gain insights on the effectiveness and impact of the current update events, provide recommendations around the design of future investment and improvements in delivery.
