Delivery of PGS Supported Learning Project
Profitable Grazing Systems (PGS) is an Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) adoption program, which will drive measurable, improved business performance outcomes for participating red meat producers. This project will deliver an Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) owned Supported Learning package. This SLP will address the issue of improving pasture utilisation in the high rainfall permanent pasture areas of southern Australia by providing graziers with opportunities and knowledge to develop their understanding of the principles of pasture production and livestock utilisation along with the practical skills to do this, in the context of a positive relationship between pasture utilisation and farm business profit.
