Cool Cows refresh
Assessing the cost of hot weather in terms of individual cow milk production and then devising on-farm management strategies for implementation at the herd level will assist in minimising the adverse impact of heat events on dairy farm productivity. This project will develop and deliver heat stress management information to Australian dairy farmers including a second edition review of relevant science with associated recommendations for adoption on farm.
