Rocket Seeder

Rocket Seeder is one of Australia's leading accelerators for early stage startups in the food and agriculture sector.

The program is tailored made for early stage founders, although we do support more established businesses developing new and innovative products and services.

We take our teams on a 6-month journey to:

  • Refine their business model utilising lean startup principles
  • Develop a compelling narrative; and the develop the confidence and skills to communicate with media, investors, customer and potential partners.

We select participants for our program based on their likelihood of commercial success and their ability to make a positive impact on society and the environment. We have had the pleasure of working with some amazing startups, with many going on to raise funding, employ staff and create successful high impact businesses. To date, we have supported 70+ founders over 7 cohorts. Many of are alumni are on-farm or rely on the agricultural community to support their businesses.

Here is an overview of our alumni https://www.rocketseeder.com/alumni

Rocket Seeder supports businesses from a range of agricultural industries - the sky is the limit! We work with the investment community from Australia and other countries, including Singapore, USA and the Netherlands, to help inform our program participants and alumni about the investment process and current opportunities. Australian researchers and research organisations, including RDCs and universities, are a very important part of the innovation ecosystem.

We like to stay up-to-date with current research, including who is doing what, so we can support our program participants and alumni. If you are a researcher, research organisation, potential mentor or investor - please feel free to reach out to us if you have an interest in working with us or our program participants or alumni. We get to know them pretty well during our time with them :)
