Assessing the practicality of the robot platforms from SwarmFarm Robotics

This project will explore the use of SwarmFarm robotics to perform vineyard tasks in the Coonawarra region of South Australia, to determine what tasks the robot can safely undertake and the cost of operation, quality of result and maintenance required. The in-field robotics will be calibrated by science and technology, engineering and mathematic (STEM) graduates, to attract a new labour force to manage, enhance and operate the equipment. Project findings will be extended throughout the viticulture industry and to other ag sectors to review and identify capabilities for the technology.
