Cannai is a licensed medicinal cannabis startup based in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, operating a high-performance greenhouse designed for hands-on R&D. We're young, ambitious, and focused on leading the industry through sustainable cultivation, living soil systems, and real-world data.

All growing and post-harvest processing occurs on-site, allowing us to support full-cycle trials for agtech, biotech, or cultivation innovations. We’ve already completed multiple crop cycles and are actively experimenting with microbial inputs, soil blends, and low-input growing techniques.

We’re looking to partner with researchers, IP holders, and early-stage companies wanting to test cannabis-related technologies or approaches in a licensed, operational setting. Our goal is to help fast-track innovation that reduces cost, improves quality, and drives the future of cannabis cultivation.

Cannai is also planning outdoor expansion to support trials across broader agrifood applications like input efficiency, regenerative practices, and climate-resilient crop strategies.
