Development of New Emission Reduction Fund (ERF) Methods for the Pork Industry
The Emission Reduction Fund (ERF) is a voluntary incentive scheme that enables producers to generate revenue by reducing greenhouse gases (GHG) or sequestering carbon. For participants to claim abatement and generate Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs), they must use a specified ERF methodology determination (method). This project looked at existing methods and also consider new technologies that were fed into an ERF Method relevant to pigs.
