Water disinfection for influent water biosecurity on prawn grow-out farms

The "Water Disinfection for Influent Water Biosecurity on Prawn Grow-out Farms" project addresses critical needs in the prawn farming industry, including combating White Spot Syndrome Virus, enhancing industry preparedness, and establishing guidelines for trichlorfon use. By studying the efficacy of trichlorfon treatment and the degradation of toxic residuals, the project provides valuable insights for effective water biosecurity. It aims to develop practical guidelines, based on experimental data and industry experience, and generate data for APVMA registration of trichlorfon use.
