Uptake of Training and Animal Health and Welfare Practices

Encouraging greater uptake of leading animal health and welfare practices across the livestock supply chain is important to reduce risks, increase productivity and promote industry sustainability. This project aims to identify key risks, required capabilities and the capacity for change that can be achieved through training and development. Informed by best practice and learnings from other industries, the project will produce a sustainable training strategy to enable ‘whole of industry’ management of key capabilities for individuals working along the supply chain.
