Update of Feedlot R&D evaluation model

Over the past year, consultants RM Consulting Group (RMCG) and the Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) Feedlot team have updated and streamlined the Feedlot Research and Development (R&D) evaluation model. This project will undertake further updates of the model to incorporate MLA evaluation framework requirements and to make it available in a format that is consistent with MLA’s Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework. This framework allows MLA to establish the level of return it may expect for its investment, including a benefit cost ratio and net present value for each project evaluated. This model also gives MLA greater control and consistency when evaluating projects.
