Understanding export supply chain logistics under COVID-19 - Sea freight capacity
This investment is supporting a business case to identify current and future demand for sea freight capacity requirements of Australian horticulture produce.
Government, growers, exporters and supply chain partners need access to accurate and timely air and sea freight capacity information. By providing this information, the industry can assess current and future airfreight and sea freight options (ie produce not reliant on airfreight converting to sea freight). This will assist in supporting horticultural businesses' continuity during periods of national and international crises, such as COVID-19 that affect export of horticultural produce.
