The regional Australia Institute (RAI) assessment of CRDC RD&E investment on the socio-economic resilience of rural and regional communities

This consultancy will give GRDC and CRDC insight into the relationship between providing grain farmers with cutting edge technology, research and tools and their ability to subsequently manage risk and change, lower volatility, and take advantage of market and seasonal opportunities. Importantly the research will link how these changes to capacity and capability affect investment and business growth decisions of farming businesses, and the impacts of this on surrounding communities. The services are to conduct a literature review, draft the research framework, collect and analyse data and provide final reports and the project assessment framework as set out in the attached proposal dated November 2022.
