Technical Garment Development & Construction

This investment is working with trade partners to develop innovative knitted garments for the fashion, sports and lifestyle markets. Traditional fashion and sports garments have been either produced on regular flat-knit knitting machines or constructed from circular knit fabrics by the “cut n sew” method. With the growing requirement for less waste of materials and for greater functionality in a garment, (for both performance and comfort), new knitting technologies utilising wool and wool blends need to be explored, developed and tested.
