Sailing the marine knowledge landscape: Enhancing the discoverability, accessibility, and usability of FRDC investment

The project "Sailing the marine knowledge landscape: Enhancing the discoverability, accessibility, and usability of FRDC investment" addressed the existing gaps in synthesising research funded by Australia’s Research and Development Corporations (RDCs), particularly within the marine science space where the Fisheries RDC (FRDC) operated. Its primary goal was to integrate FRDC research into the Research Link Australia (RLA) platform to enhance its discoverability, accessibility, and usability. This initiative aimed to leverage various knowledge tools offered by RLA to better understand marine science and agricultural innovation. It also sought to promote the platform across the wider marine science community and other RDCs. By facilitating collaboration and knowledge transfer between government, business, and research sectors, the project aimed to foster innovation and enhance the linkage between industry and research in fishing and aquaculture
