Retail and Development protein solutions centre

This project will establish a KPC, but industry accessible new product development innovation hub. The proposed facility will have the capability to showcase products in retail packing formats, wholesaling and ready cooked solutions. The facility will be open to all Australian red meat processors (for a fee) to utilise the facility for a 10-year period (under the duration of this project). The facility will also be available for RDCs (MLA and AMPC) and researchers to utilise for their NPD innovation journeys. The facility will also be accessible to equipment developers and providers to develop and demonstrate new NPD technologies.
