Profitable and environmentally sustainable sub clover and medic seed harvesting

Sub clover and annual medic seed harvesting is environmentally and socially challenging, and relatively inefficient. This project explores options to improve harvesting efficiency and reduce soil erosion through engineering alternatives to traditional suction harvesting, modifications to current harvesters and development of agronomic and soil management packages. The end goal of this research is a triple bottom line solution to support growers and to help sustain the Australian industry.
