Potent Mould and Mildew Resistance Cotton Fabrics

Outdoor cotton products include transport tarpaulins, caravan covers, awnings, camper trailer walls and roofs and even livestock covers. Customer preference is shifting to cotton (100%) and cotton-rich fabrics for these applications owing to the breathability and comfort aspects offered by cotton fibre. However, the outdoor exposure increases the probability of mould and mildew growth as well as discolouration of the fabric. This investment will focus on developing mould and mildew resistant cotton through the incorporation of an eco-friendly anti-microbial agent for outdoor fabrics.
