PhD: Farm-wide microgrid decision support system for the Australian cotton industry

This PhD project develops a decision support system to evaluate available renewable energy supply and storage options, and models load demand and power systems for the best combination of distributed generation and storage. Energy system components, such as diesel, solar, wind, water PV pumps, heat pumps, biomass gasifier, and battery banks, will be integrated to form a microgrid.
